Luke Bryan Makes Country Music History with SIX #1 Singles off One Album

Luke Bryan makes country music history as the only country artist in the modern era to release an album containing SIX Number One singles on both the Mediabase Country chart and Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.  As “I See You” holds for a second week in the top spot, it also becomes Luke’s 12th career Number One single from his Double-Platinum selling Crash My Party album, in addition to being the sixth consecutive Number One from the project.

Crash My Party also contains five Number One Billboard Country Airplay chart singles.

Last night Luke began the winter run of his sold-out “That’s My Kind of Night Tour” in Grand Rapids, Michigan, a run of shows that will lead him into his first European tour at the end of the month.  In March, he’ll release his final Spring Break music, Spring Break…Checkin’ Out on March 10 and on April 19 Luke will co-host the 50th ACM Awards for the third consecutive year with Blake Shelton from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on the CBS Television Network.  Luke heads into the show with four ACM nominations:  Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist, Song of the Year for “Drink A Beer” and Vocal Event for “This Is How We Roll” with Florida Georgia Line.

Since the debut of his first album in 2007, Luke Bryan has placed 12 singles at No. 1 and sold nearly 7 million albums with 27 million digital tracks from his four studio albums and has been named Entertainer of the Year for both the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association.  Luke’s latest album Crash My Party was 2013’s best-selling country album which has sold over two million copies with 8 million digital downloads, is certified Double Platinum, won the Billboard Music Award for “Top Country Album.” In 2014, Luke Bryan achieved the best touring year of his career with 1.7 million fans attending his concerts.

This May Luke will be honored with a summer exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and will embark on a new tour, “Kick The Dust Up Tour.”
